I just talked to them two days ago. I called 800-XFINITY. You have to go through a bunch of those BS automated menus, but eventually you get to talk to a person. Beware however, if you have more than one problem, you'll have to talk to a different person for each one.
And one of my problems has not been resolved so I'll have to call them again. I might try the online chat however. That's usually better than the phone.

My Comcast internet went out this Sunday. I called the 800-266-2278 number and was told the next available date for a tech to come out would be Tuesday. However, they would submit a ticket to get someone out earlier if available. Tuesday, I found out the ticket wasn't submitted and my appointment was now on Wednesday. The tech that finally came out determined that another Comcast tech had erroneously disconnected me. I can see why Comcast has the highest customer dissatisfaction rate for a national company. I've had nothing but trouble with them.

I just called that number and the message says, "Welcome to Comcast", the same message I have always gotten.

You could also stop by their office and speak to a human. The office is on 441 in the plaza across from WalMart that also contains CVS, McDonalds and the DMV.

I have dealt with Comcast since December. The phone staff are very nice and I've told them so.....but there television service sucks out loud. We have HD and DVR and anything in HD seems to cut out and just stop. The DVR, after recording a program, does the same thing. We've had the 'box' replaced once. The tech and the phone staff were very nice but once again, that does not help the television service. Please, please could we get ANY other cable service that will be competition to these people...or do we have to just move closer to Brownwood.

I agree. I have never had a problem with Comcast.. I think I am the only one in the world,,, lol...
I had a problem with my living room TV and I think it was me who screwed it up. I was having company for Easter and they sent a repair guy on EASTER SUNDAY to fix it for me... I offered him a dinner but he declined.
I also have done the online chat and the tech there was extremely good and we fixed the problem immediately.

I too haven't had a problem with Comcast, and we've had their service since 2005. They've always been very responsive and helpful. I have had to make my way through the voice-menu maze, which always irritates, but get helpful people on the other side. Of course, in today's world, this could change at any time.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the positive comments..When I tried to "unbundle", do away with phone service, they said fine, and wanted to raise my bill 30 bucks..I promptly cancelled all their service and got another internet provider and Dish network..Best move I ever made. If you'd like to see their real service, go to either office, on 441 or down in Leesburg, and listen to the unhappy folks in the long lines there, most trying to turn in equipment as they drop this service. Comcast has a well earned, horrible reputation.

Who is your internet provider?
I too had to wait in a long line at the Comcast 441 office when I returned my equipment. Three windows and only one open meant almost an hour long wait.

Leesburg has a drop box outside. You can turn in equipment and not have to go in.

My internet provider is Century Link. Never had any service issues and it's much faster than Comcast. I would stay away from Prism though as friends of mine are always experiencing "freeze ups" and according to them their service dept leaves a lot to be desired.

Bless anyonethat ever tries to cancel their service! They practice creative accounting (not in the customers favor) and then promptly turn you over to a collection agency when you dispute their incorrect amount. They are greedy crooks!
