Hello. I saw your post and was wondering if your league would be interested in playing for a local charity, Kids Central. We are non-profit in Ocala and service Lake, Sumter, Marion, Citrus and Hernando counties with prevention services for children who are abandoned, abused or neglected. We also offer foster care and adoption services and a wide variety of other services related to children and families.

We are looking at late September and this is the good part: It will be at the exclusive Black Diamond Quarry course in Lecanto. We have a wide variety of sponsorships and of course, foursomes are welcome. The date has yet to be set, but I wanted to start getting the word out. I am the Executive Assistant to the CEO and if you are interest, please feel free to reply. I am registered here under my personal email address but will respond to you through my work address if you express interest.

If you have no interest, I am sorry to have bothered you. I am trying to target golf enthusiasts who would see value and want an opportunity to play the private Quarry course. I would like to sell out the event this year. :)

On our inaugural week we had 6 couples participate at the Heron course. We collected $1.00 per person and the kitty was split between the woman closest to the pin and the man closest to the pin. We had couples from De La Vista, Buttonwood, Virginia Trace and Amelia. After golf we all joined for dinner at Cane Garden. It was a great way to have fun & meet new people. Next week we have 7 couples and would like to enlist at least one more. PM me if you're interested. Our tee times requested are between 4 and 6 PM on Tuesday night. We will play on courses between 466 & 466A with added exception that we may include Saddlebrook & Hawkes Bay. Join us!
