So do you mind telling me what you love about TV the most? :)

We're like you. We simply love it here and are now coming up on 2 years as full time Villagers, and like you...we couldn't be happier. How did we get so lucky?! The thing I like best is having an active lifestyle filled with more interesting activities than we can get around to! Physically, mentally, emotionally, intellectually, socially, T.V. has it all. Who could ask for anything more?

So do you mind telling me what you love about TV the most? :)

I (we) like so many things about it, it's hard to pick a "most."

Some of the things at the top of my list:

- The excellent choices of championship and executive golf courses.
- The ability to get on our cart and go so many places, with beautiful landscaping along the way.
- The plethora of cart accessible services, shopping and dining.
- The overall energy of the activities in the squares and the mind-boggling choices of groups/clubs.
- The choices in pools, recreation centers and rec activities.
- Throwing my bag on the cart early in the morning, driving on dedicated cart trails as the sun is coming up...while sipping on my coffee.
- Some fantastic neighbors who are more friendly in general, than any place I've lived before.
- The contented feeling, of taking a golf cart ride on a warm night.

Some of the negatives:

- A shameful lack of diversity in the demographics and the negative stereotype of us by non-TV'ers, because of it.
- The focus on drinking.
- The housing density and high price per square foot, of houses jam packed next to each other. In any other location without the landscaping, most of TV would be considered to be a low-end tract housing development.
- The lack of topnotch quality healthcare.
- A local newspaper that thinks we're all ignorant and would think less of the place, if they actually printed the truth about the bad happenings/incidents.
- Some neighbors that are bigots, racist and overbearing.

Just a small list.......of what I consider the pros and cons.

Obviously, the pros outweighed the cons...which is why we're now here. :)

I don't play golf, but in all other respects, you are right on the money. A very well thought out response. We love it here but the negatives should be obvious to everyone right along side the obvious positives.

Thank you. :)

You're right, it should be "obvious" ....but obviously it isn't for a plethora of folks.

We are right there with you, it will be a year in our house in July. Being in the army we moved a lot and with post Rmy career moves (25 in all) we have had lots of neighbors, our neighbors here are the absolute best! The activities, discussions, parties, blue sky and sunshine can't be beat. We are solo happy we moved here. FROGS FOREVER!
