Tomatoe Plants Look'n Good

Planted Tomatoe plants Feb 28th, and plants looking real good. Have about dozen tomatoes size of half dollar at least. I gambled, by planting them early, wrapped around in plastic, to keep the cold out. Looks like, could have tomatoe sandwiches at end of month. Mine looked great last year. when they started to turn red the birds came in and had a feast. No more tomatoes. If you can find a screen top to put over them it might be a good idea.

I got some 2x2s and chicken wire at Home Depot and built cages to protect my tomatos from birds.
