Windows 7 issues.
Microsoft has issued a bulletin regarding the automatic updates that were pushed out the week of April 8. It seems that there are conflict problems with third party software that causes the computer to blue screen. Microsoft is recommending that you back out these updates if you are having this issue. I myself have the updates installed on two Windows 7 systems and am not having any issues. Here is a link to an article on the subject.

Windows 8 changes coming.
Microsoft is rumored to be making changes to Windows 8 to bring it more in line with Windows 7 as they are adding back the Start Button onto the desktop tile and adding the ability to boot right to the desktop screen. These along with other changes are to be available in version 8.1 that is currently being called Windows Blue. Availability to the general public is mid to late2013.
