:MOJE_whot: We leave here next Thursday and should be in TV later that afternoon. I am not 100% after my surgery yet so probably no dancing in the streets for me. Lol, but I'm not complaining! Just so happy it's finally here! Hope to run in to some of you folks I've been chatting with here. We'll use the shuttle everyone has been recommending. Definitely take the trolley 'cause it provides you with a wealth of information; however, be sure to take yourself to Spanish Springs and experience the beauty of that square and the older section of TV. The trolley now only covers the are between Lake Sumter and Brownwood.

Well we are here! I have to say at first....yesterday when we arrived....I thought whoa this is all a bit too much. But then something strange happened on the trolley tour today, it hit me! I think I'm in love! Honey I want to live here, honey I really want to move HERE! Like now please. It truly did hit me like a ton of bricks. It's so beautiful everywhere. There's so much to do or not to do here. Everything is right here within TV, for the most part. So now the task at hand...selling our current home. You can believe I will be right on it when we get back and I want to find something here before the prices jump to high. Nite, another full day in TV tomorrow!

Before you're next trip checkout the Autotrain. I don't know if you flew or drove, but since you're from Virginia, it might be to your advantage. We did our LSV two years ago in April and it was $900 each way. Big difference in the off season, were going back to visit Baltimore this August and it's only $750 round trip.

The train stations are in Lorton, VA, just outside the DC beltway by Arlington and the Florida station is in Sanford, about a 90 minute drive east of TV. With driving I figured one night in a motel, 35 gallons of gas and meals on the road, taking the train is only a couple of hundred more dollars in the off season. Also you save 1800 miles of driving on your car and yourself. If you flew, you would save the car rental while you'e in TV.

I just kinda knew this would happen.

It is beyond words sometimes, even for us who have been here for several years.

It isn't perfect, but danged close.

In MY very humble opinion.

I am glad to be on this earth and in this place.

Back home in VA. The difference is unbelievable. Don't get me wrong, I love my home and I've lived in this area all of my life. But the scenery here is no comparison to TV of course. Here you have all walks of life which is normal anywhere except a place as TV because it is mostly retirees. It's really a cultural shock if you know what I mean. But I know in my heart we are ready for this lifestyle. The only thing that I might be questioning is it seems we are younger, not a lot but enough to wonder if we would have difficulty making friends. But something tells me that out of 90,000 people that would not be so.
