Last winter we came to Florida looking for Campgrounds to escape CNY winters..After renting a courtyard Villa for two weeks we decided long term camping wasn't for us and purchased new Courtyard Villa... Will close the 30th of this month... Looking forward to returning to our new home away from home..

That's the spirit!!!! Try something new and meet oodles of new people who are adventurous, too. You'll wish you'd done this sooner!

You are telling us this on your very first post. I find that unbelievable, if it didn't happen so often.;)
I am an unreformed advocate for this wonderful place and we have owned homes here for six years now and have never felt any disappointment with anything other than the medical choices.
We love how things are run.
Please allow me to extend from our family to the two of you a sincere welcome and wishes and prayers for a long and happy stay here with us in lower Paradise.
Kindest wishes,
Gracie

Welcome! I am from the Rochester, NY area and am retiring in July. This means I will finally be escaping the snow and cold.
I know you will not miss winter one single day while in The Villages.

We are also from CNY - Syracuse, and just purchased in Pinnellas. Looking forward to seeing snow on The Weather Channel, but not in person!
