My friend is flying to Alaska for two weeks. Having a special handicap vehicle for his wife he intends to park his van somewhere at a hotel and after his return flight late at night, stay the night rather than drive home. He believes there are hotels in Orlando that allow a customer to park their car/van for free as long as they stay at the place for a day. Does anyone know of any such hotels and if so, recommend one. My friend is leaving on Tuesday so there isn't much time to get his traveling plans together.

Marriot has secure parking with a free shuttle...5 minutes from the airport. reasonably priced, and they may offer a discount if you stay there.

Hyatt, right in airport has parking at its hotel and has a fly ,park program. It sits in center of the airport terminal and is so convenient to get to your gate. It's not free but they offer specials. Their parking garage is on top of the hotel. Terminal is at bottom of hotel.

He might try calling the Orlando Dept. of Tourism, The Hotel Association of Orlando/Orange County or the Chamber of Commerce. Often they will have a list of services offered by various hotels.

LaQuinta Airport West offers a "Stay and Go" package, which includes long term parking. No idea what that means, but it's listed on their website. Worth a call.
