Part time RN looking for work

Hi Villagers:
My wife is an RN with 33 years of experience and is looking for part time work. We just moved here and saw some of the hospital postings but we wanted to talk to some folks who might already have a part time position and would like to share some thoughts on what to look for. She was a supervisor of a floor at a rehab center with a skilled ventilator unit and feels she would be a good fit for something similar. Please give us a shout if you have some insight on the local market.

Welcome to The Villages! There is a new acute long term care hospital called Promises on Rainey Trail. Sounds like your wife may be a good fit! It is also golf accessable. Good Luck to your wife!

You should check into Promise. It's a 40 bed LTAC w an 8 bed ICU. High acuity patients. She would be a great fit. PM me and we can chat more. Also, there is a nurses club that meets monthly which might help with networking. Good luck!
