If you now live in The Villages and work, where do you work, what do you do and how many hours do you put in?

I actually came down from OH with good intentions for looking for full time work as a little too early to retire. I am a dietitian and work for a company outside of Orlando who deals mainly in long term care facilities--my two are in Inverness and I work 32/hr week. My husband is trying to find work as we speak--he's in general maintenance and grounds.

I work 40 hours per week, have had 2 raises in the past year, and have now accrued vacation time. It is retail sales, but that is what I love and am good at it. And I have no intention of retiring (I am will be 65 at the end of the year).

I work for the entertainment dept. just 2 days a month as a audio engineer. I love it and the hourly pay is good but I'm retired and just want to keep my skills up.

I am a Bakery manager and although I was working upwards of 80 hours a week, I am soon cutting that in half. Hubby works 5 days a week about 5 hours each day, sometimes a bit more.

I consider myself very fortunate as I get to hang in The Villages all winter and still work (virtually) for a company in Lexington, MA. That company sells their product packaged on a Linux appliance. My job is to write software to hide the complexities of Linux from the end user so they can manage the appliance. I have fun doing it, and I have health insurance. I doubt I could have been here without such a job...

I live in TV and work on my Golf game, my tan, drinking ability, my abs and relationship building abilities. The pay is awful but the benefits are GREAT!

That's my plan for work when I get to TV...except for the "tan" part. I'm Irish...all working on my tan would do is darken my freckles. :^)
