My wife and I have rented a house in Liberty Park, arriving on July 1st. We're doing this to see if we like this life style. I was wondering how my wife can find things to do while I work, (I'm a work at home person for a major health insurance company). I know there are things always going on at the town squares in the evening. I was wondering if any of the clubs stop meeting during the summer that she might like, (she likes bingo, the gym, and a few other things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have her look at the Recreation News and schedule. It can be found online here:

Get a copy of the Daily Sun newspaper especially on Thursday. It has so much information about what's happening. You can have it delivered to your rental property and be updated every morning. Enjoy your time.

I have met the most wonderful people at the neighborhood pool at Hadley and been invited to parties, churches, pickleball, water volleyball etc. Also have talked to people at the squares and in restaurants. I have been given the "business cards-I use that term lightly since many use them to give out their home contact info---it's a The Villages thing.. I find the peeps in TV so friendly. Of course, I may be the outgoing type and your wife may not be comfortable with that. My kids used to get so embarrassed with me because I would talk to people in the grocery store line etc. hahahaha
Just a few ideas to meet people.
