I'm worried these days that the liver is about kaput....

but, I refuse to go kindly into the good night.

Please...retirement doesn't mean cutting yourself off from the new and edge. You need to work harder because the language of music/art evolves and it is not what you grew up with.

Work. It will keep you younger. Revolutionary art is the change of the language of art - not the subject.

It's like speaking English all of your life and having to create art in French....the language is different.

For music it means odd time signatures...odd tunings...challenging intervals... dissidence is movement.

Stay young..deny death.

I intend to.

G, I certainly hope you find a donor so that life will be more meaningful.

Best wishes on your future health.

I get what you mean but, with me music reminds me of my past. And I mean not just the memory by my feelings at the time. Give you an example. When I hear Strawberry Fields Forever it reminds me riding in the car with my parents down Sheridan Drive (Buffalo) and hearing it for the first time and it just blew my mind. Would that I could feel that more oftern.

Anyway Homer Simpson said it best, "Why do you need new bands? Everyone knows rock attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact."
