Whenever anyone has seen this I would sure like your opinion on it. Have no idea why anyone would want to make a movie out of this really sick true story. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/pain_and_gain/

Yesterday at the gym I overheard two men talking. One had gone to see the movie. It was so bad he walked out early, demanded his money back and actually had it returned to him!

Was that in the Villages? I have heard of that happening with other movies in the Villages from time to time.

The gym is in Newport Beach, CA so it was a theater in the Orange County area. The guy to whom the movie goer was talking could not believe the fellow got his money back.

I finally got to see it from Netflix. Not really good and not really bad. Should have been shorter.

It is in my queue but I will have to wait a while for it as it seems to be in high demand right now as of late August of 2013.

It seemed like a very dark comedy. Have seen dark comedies I liked a lot more than this like A Fish Called Wanda and Tom Hanks' The Ladykillers. You are right it is too long.
