Today while sitting downtown at DD in Spanish Springs. I saw a golfcart drive by.. Driving the golf cart was a senior man with a little girl maybe 4 yrs old on his lap. She had her hands on the wheel... Sitting next to the senior man was a senior lady with a 5 or 6 yr boy facing her and leaning his body against the front of the Golf Cart... No seat belt..

An accident waiting to happen.... Kids should always be belted in!!!! Same laws should apply for kids here as well as the country... God forbid if there was an accident..

Please think before putting kids in Golf Carts...

Remarkable lack of good judgement. How would they explain it to the parents should anything bad happen?

Do not beleive 6 year olds need to be belted in Florida. Most carts come with-out seatbelts................

I think that is great to teach the 4 year old how to steer the cart, that way when the child is 12 years old it will be able to take the cart out alone and zoom around TV

And don't forget the little ones make great designated drivers for those long evenings at the square.
