This is a BBC series. Season one can be viewed on netflix.

I liked it. If you like "Hell on Wheels" or Justified, you will like this show,

But it is a period setting. The series takes place during the civil war in NYC (Five points). Like the movie "Gangs of New York", but from the police perspective.

It has been renewed for a second season.

Good to hear. I liked that series. Same with the British one called Ripper Street.

Yes, very good. It's nice to see some thought put into the dialog. Another good BBC production on Netflix is Foyles War.

I agree. I think Foyles War is a good series. A little more cerebral.

Copper is a bit more raw.
