Welcome to another DC area ex-pat.... you will love being able to go out and get around at any hour of the day. We are certainly not limited to just the 10am-2pm window for low traffic that is the norm for DC.

Congratulations! We closed in January on Birdsong Place. We are not full time yet, but will be in 19 months when we retire. Can't wait. Come down (from NY) whenever we can. I love Fernandina! Whenever we are there the people and the energy in that area are great. :pepper2:

We are on Partridge Ave. Met two neighbors who seemed very nice and gave us a tour of their respective homes, which was helpful in that we were still undecided about which model to build, and they each had one of the models we were considering. In any event, I have a vague recollection that you and I chatted before. Looking forward to meeting in-person.
