:crap2::crap2::crap2::crap2::crap2::crap2::crap2:: crap2::crap2::crap2: My neighbor next door asked me if I could go on TOTV to find out about Horseback Riding for children. So here I am asking if anyone knows of a place in area where she can take children (5) horseback Riding. Very much appreciated. Thanks:crap2:

Call Camp Wildwood, the Girl Scout camp on Route 462. They have riding horses for children. 813-417-9583

We have taken our granddaughters (ages 5 and 7) riding at Happy Acres Ranch which is near Ocala for the past couple of summers. There are several different trails which are available They furnish helmets for the kids. The horses are very calm, seem to have a wide range of temperments and are of different sizes to fit the size and experience of the rider. Rides are from an hour on up and the full time on the trail is honored. During July they also run a series of week-long horse day camps for for children who want to learn about horses, so he knows how to watch out for kids around horses. We found the equipment, grounds and animals to be as clean and neat as can be expected for a working farm/ranch.
Jim Moore, the owner, is usually the trail rider guide. Phone is 352-489-8550. Web site is www.ocalahappyacres.com (http://www.ocalahappyacres.com) The ranch is located about 45 minutes drive from TV.

I recommend Captain Jacks in Ocala. Cactus Jack's Trail Rides - Home (http://cactusjackstrailrides.com/)

Nice trails, quiet TRAINED horses and the prices are reasonable.
