Can someone direct me to who I should contact about questionable business practices? Just had my second questionable encounter with the Verizon Store on 441. Thankfully I have my brain faculties still firing on all cylinders - realized after I left the store today that they were screwing with my account and giving me bogus information about eligibility on ordering a new phone... trying to get me to pay full price instead of the advertised price.

This is the second time in less than 4 months I have had a major issue with them - the first time I just thought the rep was stupid - this time I think stupid like a fox.

Both are long protracted stories, but both were resolved by calling Verizon corporate and getting results quickly and without a hassle... Now I'm wondering out loud if their store management has decided to take advantage of us "oldsters"... who would ever know???

Thanks

Is this a Verizon owned store or "authorized retailer"? Not that makes a difference in your case, just wondering.

This is the Verizon owned store up on 441 and Rolling Acres.
And thanks to Taltarzac for the link. My gut says that most people who experience this just walk away shaking their head... but there have to be some of us who have a strong background in computer technology who know when there is something very strange going on in that store. I spoke to the Manager after the first incident and complained that two of their techs had told me my phone was dead, yet Motorola's chat line had it up and running in 5 minutes. It just needed a hard start. Instead, the sales reps were insisting that I needed to purchase a new phone... Today, they tried to tell me I wasn't qualified for a a new phone.. a total lie. I know when I purchased the phone.. they had adjusted my wait time for one more year... I simply had to call Verizon's customer service line and the fixed the fix - back to the original date... Bad, bad business going on there.
