"April 21, 2013) Joe Scarborough of Charlotte, N.C., rolled three consecutive 300 games, throwing 36 consecutive strikes, to start the first round of qualifying in the PBA50 Sun Bowl at The Villages at Spanish Springs Lanes Sunday (April 21st), recording the first 900 series in Professional Bowlers Association history. This 900 series also counts for the 23 recorded 900 in history."

Sounds like the making of another TV Club: "The 300 Club." Don't tell me...that one already exists! If it does, then how about "The 300 x3 Club." I'll bet Joe Scarborough would be the only local 300 x3 member. But then, I've been wrong before.

I saw the story about this in the Daily Sun when it happened. Amazing doesn't describe what he accomplished. My husband is still telling people about it happening right here in TV. I wish we had been there and watched him throw a 900. Unbelievable.
He is the only person in that club, glgene. He just set the record!

Here's an earlier on this as well:

To roll a single 300 is amazing enough. Stringing three of them in a sanctioned event.......unbelievable!
