Had Chuck lined up to bring heat and ac to my lanai and due to circumstances beyond his control he is telling me we are looking at at least 2to 3 weeks down the road.
Anyone have another recommedation as to who to call?

You can check out Lowes or Home Depot. They have portable units that you just plug into an electrical outlet and have to be vented to the outside but is an alternative to having a permanent addition to your house HVAC unit. My neighbor had one in his enclosed lanai (CYV) and worked very well. Check them out on their websites.

Thanks, but I don't want a portable unit - want the room under heat and air so it will be included in the square footage. It is also much more economical to use the existing system (which is capable of the additional load) and more to my personal taste than a portable unit.

We had a Mitsubishi AC/heat pump installed in our lanai by M&S AC. The interior unit was placed over the door and the condenser is outside on the patio. It works very well and to us worth the around $3000 price. Room models need to vented to the outside and they didn't work with our lanai windows. You can get an idea of the unit at:

You are welcome to look at our unit. Gretchen
