Next week I would like to take the beginners Walk Off The Pounds classes that meet at the Sterling Hts. rec center. Can I get into those classes with my visitor's pass and my driver's license? For those of you who have taken the beginner's class, what is the class like, and do I need to bring anything with me like a mat? I will call the contact name for this class listed in the Rec Center weekly bulletin, but I just wantetd to know if anyone on TOTV has taken this class, especially the beginners class. Thanks in advance.

Hubby and I have taken the Friday morning class. It is a 3 mile session and is for beginners. I had a friend who was a renter and she was able to attend with her ID, if that helps you.
All you need to bring is a face towel(cause you will sweat!) and maybe a bottle of water. (although water and disposable cups are available there)

Different level DVD's are played on other days. The instructors can help with info in that regard.
Happy Walking! :pepper2:
