I see a new landscaping company has opened up near the villages on CR 466 west of Rolling Acres Road. They say they have been in business for 40 years. This location is new. Has anybody used them? If anybody has used them , how we're they? We're their prices fair?

I believe you are referring to Goney or Gomey on 466 across from Villages Palms. Have not used them as a landscaper, but have bought several items there. His product is outstanding and well priced. He carries one of the best selections around. Think you'll be impressed - take a look.

I spoke to a nursery person there recently who told me that the owner/s had a Dad in the business for many years. They grew up working along side him and have been around it all their lives.
I met the owner on my first visit. Clean cut young man. I asked him some detailed questions on various plants and he was delighted to see that I knew a thing or two. We walked around together leisurely and he graciously pulled out anything I wanted to see up close.
He spoke excitedly of things he had ordered for later in the season. I saw a real passion there.
I bought a large, magnificent specimen of Flamingo Flower (anthurium) for $19
Not a blemish on it anywhere. Tons of buds. Not one speck of debris to clean up.

I LIKE THAT a whole bunch :coolsmiley:

I've seen several good reviews on this company in the past few weeks. Maybe you can find some pictures of their work or and address you can drive by and check it out.

They have a book on the desk where you check out with pictures of jobs they have done. Yes, dear, I was there again today buying more plants.

That's great that there is another landscape company with a yard that you can go look and pick out plants, and its very close to the villages .

If you want to know if a person is someone you want to do business with I recommend this: Google the business name, and find out who owns it. Then, Google the persons name and find out all about them.
I recommend this with ANY contractor, especially if they don't have a business location. Start thinking smart.
