Can anyone advise me of a good pet clinic--we are on a very fixed income and we need to have our little Sugar checked out.. Any one know anything about Banfield Pet Hospital inside Pet Smart? Thank you in advance for any information you can provide to me--we live in the Villages--new residents from California.

I can only tell you about my experience with Banfield at a Petsmart near me. They performed an unnecessary lab test on my dog and never gave me the results. I would find a private vet (I'm sure there will be suggestions here) and explain your circumstances. I personally think they would be more willing to help. Banfield is a chain and I think totally profit driven. again, just my impression.

Strongly recommend Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital 352-245-9009. Extremely knowledgeable and caring and won't do unnecessary testing. I know they also take in donations of unused meds/food for use by those whose pets need them but may not be able to afford them.
