Our pool deck needs to be repainted and we are tossing around designer concrete painting vs stamped concrete.

Has anyone re-done their pool deck using either the paint or stamped and what were the results.

U can put pavers right on top of the concrete for $1 a sq ft, never slip, stays cool

pavers in the lanai which will continue around pool & spa.

I vote for the pavers as well - they are beautiful and have an organic old world look.

Does that include installation?

no but U can do it your self, or a handy man can do it one or two days for $2-300

Do you know of such a handy man?

yes, I hired a helper that may be interested, I taught him how to do it.

How many sq ft do U have I'll ask him

So you taught him how to do this? I would wonder his expertise if he had to be shown - in any event, I have about 620 sq feet. Can I ask why you didn't do your own work?

Never said he was an expert, it's not rocket science to do this type of work, he can do it.

But is U feel more comfortable hiring a contractor for thousands of $$, perhaps that's the route U should take.

Ps:I do all my own work.
