I stopped at Riverside, Iowa while on an RV trip a few years back. According to Star Trek "history" it will be the future birthplace of James T. Kirk. The whole town celebrates his March 22nd birthday every year with big models of the Enterprise and it's shuttle.
The USS Enterprise was (will be) built at the Starfleet Riverside Ship Yards.
