Hi -

Just got a refill propane bottle, installed it, and no flame! I looked online and there was an article about a possible problem/conflict with the regulator so we followed the instructions, removed the bottle and connected again according to the instructions that were given to fix the problem. Again, no flame.

So, now we are willing to hire someone to come over to help us solve this problem. Does anyone know who we could call?

Thanks!

Mary Lou

Are you sure the new bottle is full. I got one a few years back that someone had forgotten to fill and put the little cap on it. I'd take it back and have them weigh it.

I would take the bottle back to where you got it and ask for another one. Sometimes the refill is bad. I have had it happen more than once.

Here are some troubleshooting tips.

I've had the OPD safety valve trip before.

Be very careful when working with propane. It is heavier than air and will pool in low places where any spark will set it off.
