Those of you who,are participating in the new Villages Health Care Centers, what do you think of them? Any favorite doctors? How did your insurance work out?

Tried to join Colony but they don't accept Blue Medicare Regional PPO.

Hubby went to sign up yesterday and was very impressed with how he was treated compared to his present dr.

It's been a nightmare, but I don't think I'm ready to give up. Husband has fired the doctor and moved on - actually Colony may have fired her as well since she is no longer there which is why I am not ready to give up on them - there may be some hope yet!

The doc that left or was asked to leave? Vickie Mabry-Height, was a little odd the first time we went there. She was gone a week later when we saw Dr. John Hocutt who was just like our doctor up here in WA State who we have had for 30+, so we are quite happy with Colony Care at the moment.

My doctor is with Premier Medical and he is great, the staff is outstanding... The urgent
care t hat is attached to there building is fast, the nurses and doctor's are great, they spend time with you and listen to your problems. They are located El Camino Reel on Santa Barbara St.

DW and I have Dr Clifford and are very happy with him. On the few occasions that we needed to see him, got a same day appointment.

My Fed Blue Cross works just fine with them.
