Squeaky shoes

This is no joke, my husband just contacted Nike regarding his squeaky shoes....He really likes the shoes BUT you can hear him coming four blocks away....The only way they won't squeak, is when he is on his tip-toes, but that usually ends up with "severe fist fights" because running in squeaky Nike's is very difficult (guys don't like that, tee hee)...He then asked customer service what her blood type was, because he may need a transfusion if he continues to tip-toe with these shoes....I could hear the gal at customer service laughing her head off...Then she asked him where he bought them, and his answer was, "I don't know, because after all of these "beatings" everything, is pretty fuzzy"...Needless to say, he is a very very funny guy but he sure would like to have a solution to this very "serious" problem....Got any ideas????

Squeakly shoes usually have moisture in them. You can toss them in the dryer, on low, to get moisture out. Or, remove insole,and add a little WD-40.

My very comfortable Nike's do the same thing. I assumed it was how the tread was configured.....?

Two ideas
- remove the insole and sprinkle baby powder, then put the insole back in.
- remove the insole, spray WD40 (really!) or silicone spray and work it in a little, then put the insole back in.
