I took a bike ride last night down Charlotte ct. On the east side of Charlotte ct almost all the way down, I saw the first framed home. As I looked thru the area I saw a bunch of slabs that were poured and others getting ready to be poured. I guess the building boom has started in this area. Its really amazing how fast they put these homes up. It also looks like they will be building more homes south of Hillsborough Trail. Charlotte runs into Hillsborough trail. If you look at the map of new homes for sale in today's Sun ,you will see just where they are going to build. This is a amazing place.

On Sunday I went to an open house in The Village of Hillsborough, which I believe was south of Hillsborough Trail. According to the sales rep. at the open house, this patio villa on Karin Court (or was it Karin Street?) was only about 1 1/2 miles from Brownwood. So the completed homes are creeping closer to Brownwood.

How about all the earth moving off Highway 44 east of Lake Deaton?

Villages sign is up; just not filled in.
