Did anyone hear if its a fact? Friend told me they thought they saw a "comin soon" sign. I'm not nearby or I'd check it out. Thanks

This is the link I use to check what's coming soon. This comes out the beginning of every month. MVP is not on the list as of May.

I just checked the MVP website and they show "Coming Soon" to Brownwood in TV.

I wonder if it's worth the cost between MVP and a TV regional Rec Fitness Center? MVP at Spanish Springs was too far to be convenient but MVP at Brownwood will be closer. I generally work out 3-4 times a week for about an hour. 40 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weights is my routine. Occasionaly we ride our bikes and walk the neighborhood----leaving time for two or three rounds of golf a week. Pretty dull, huh?

I love their spin classes and Pilates. Get massage there too. Well worth the trip. Now it will be down in my neck of the woods!

No Pilates at Brownwood! I emailed them. In my neck of the woods also and I was looking forward to the short commute.

I have been an active member since MVP took over (and for several year prior when TV ran the facility in SS).
IMO ... if you utilize MVP's various group exercise classes, it is well worth the cost. If you only used their "machines" .... it would prob be more difficult to justify vs working out at a rec center.
NOTE: I am unaware of what if any group exercise classes will be offered at the new Bwood facility.

My husband, JackZ, and I joined MVP at Brownwood because we live in Sanibel. I love their group classes, of which there are many. I've had hundreds of massages throughout the years and can attest to the incredible talent of LIANA, who works on Saturdays. JackZ and I go often and have used all the facilities, which are state-of-the-art. We highly recommend MVP Brownwood.

I joined the Wellness Center when I moved here in 2006 and continued when the facility was taken over by MVP. I know MVP did well by its customers compared to the Wellness Center. I believe MVP inclusion of both its equipment area and group classes is generous.
MVP is a very welcome addition to TV

How crowded are the MVP centers as compared to Village Rec Fitness centers?
Is there a waiting time on most machines?
