Hello. Can anyone recommend a reasonable and quality upholstery company near The Villages? Thank you. Marilyn aka "Happily Retired".

I just used Lake Upholstery, 466a & 25

Nice guy knew his stuff, he's redoing all my cushions in my RV, fair price.

It used to be that sewers and upholsterers were folks who knew how to do it and did it for a reasonable price. Now they are skilled workers not widely available and charge a little more or a lot more. I think that is fair.

I have found that you can buy a new couch for the price to have the old one upholstered. Not only do the upholsterers charge a decent amount but fabric is very, VERY expensive. I am still weighing the choice.

Kudo's to the smart folks who know how to do this increasingly scarce art.

someone told me that Australia, that has somewhat strict immigration laws, allows people in hard to find occupations to immigrate and upholsterers is one of them.

Has anyone used Jackie's on Old Dixie Highway? I am looking for a good one as well.

HI, Don't know if you found an upholstery company yet?? I have used Aurora's Upholstery & Decor in Wildwood. They are right on main street. I had a cushion and some pillows made. They did an excellent job. There number is 352-348-1748
