According to Costco website none in Ocala. Find a Costco warehouse (http://www.costco.com/WarehouseLocatorView?langId=-1&storeId=10301&catalogId=10701&cm_re=Common-_-Top_Nav-_-Locations)

No Costco in Ocala or Clermont unless it has been built in the last 60 days.

NO Costco in Ocala - we set out to find it one day and it does NOT exist. Altamonte Springs is the only one I know of close by. I am praying they bring one to TV one day.

There is no Costco in Clermont. I am in Clermont at least 2x a week. I do a lot of our shopping there and attend church in Clermont.
There is a BJ's in Clermont.
I belong to all three, (for now).....BJ's, Sam's and Costco.
There are 3 Costco's in the Orlando area. Strangely, the southernmost one is the quickest to get to....I take the turnpike there.
Last time I was there I spoke to a customer service person who told me they were considering one in Clermont. I told them they also needed to look into The Villages, and that they could not ignore a place with over 100k population. Only time will tell.....

No problem....just did not want someone to make a wasted trip.:)
As The Villages grows it will be interesting to see what stores and services come....I suppose we all have a wishlist.....

When we chose to build in May 2004 there were almost no national chain stores/restaurants/etc here and the population was less than 1/2 of what it is today.
The shopping that was here then and in the surrounding area was adequate.
Those were not the criteria to buy here of any importance in making the decision by us as we'll as all those who came before us when there was even less.
TV lifestyle and the FL weather made the decision!
Yes there will be more to come...and not all of what everybody had back home will be here......that ain't why YOU decided to move here either!
Within one hour in any direction of TV is almost anything and everything anybody could want.
And even if nothing else comes to TV, it would not alter why we are all here!

BJ's makes more sense. It was Preppy Pets that told me they were sure it was a Costco but like others it was not shown on C's website. Bummer!

Frankly, the. various so called Wholesale Clubs like Costco and SAMs were nice years ago when we bought for more than the two of us ---- not as economical now. We have kept our SAMs club membership because there is one here in TV but I question the "utility" of it.

Kind of weird how you can't rely on anything posted on TOTV. Just in this thread someone says: Yes there is one in Clermont; Yes there is one in Ocala.
These posters really think they are facts. Real weird in my opinion. Why would someone say there is one in either of those towns if they don't really know? Don't say a fact unless it is a fact. If it's your opinion then you have every right to express it but facts are facts.
But no - there is none in either location. And that's a fact Jack!:)
