As the only administrative person on duty in an acute care facility I used an Invacare Zoom 400. I traveled throughout the facility for 8 hours. Had an excellent turning radius, comfortable seat, quiet, and very easy to drive. I believe there is also a Zoom 300 model. I needed the heavier weight capacity due to carrying policy manuels and equipment. The hospital felt the larger model would be more durable. Believe me it was. Up and down corridors, on and off elevators, it went everywhere. And yes it was red. This is not a mobility scooter that folds up. It weighs 200 pounds. You need a ramp to get it into an SUV or Van.
