We are almost done building in Gilchrist & I have two questions. How do we find a nice outdoor bar for our pool area that doesn't cost a fortune (someone to build it or just buy it) & I have this new king bed with 15" mattress which I cannot find a comforter to go down far enough on the sides....any suggestions?

I had good luck using The Company Store. (online or catalog)
They manufacture a (limited design) selection of 'super sized' and 'oversized' comforters, all made in Wisconsin and also carry some name brand merchandise in addition to their own stuff.
I purchased a lightweight 'oversized king' (110"x118" wide) - 8" to 10" wider than most standard kings. It required buying a duvet/comforter cover ( which I don't normally like) but they carry ones that are made to fit these (again, a limited selection )- I chose Charisma brand, and am pleased with the quality.
The comforters are built with a loop on each corner and the covers tie off to the loop on the inside, so everything stays in place, mercifully.
My ensemble is conservative in look, but quite comfortable to the feel and has totally eliminated the need to wrestle covers from my hubby during the night, which was my primary motivation.
(I made it spiffier using a couple of cool throw pillows.)
It would be one solution to cover the deep mattress you have.
These comforters/covers are not inexpensive, but worth it to me. Hubby likes it too.
I have ordered from this company in the past- always had a good experience. Worth a look.

Croscill's comforters are oversized and might work. Many stores carry that brand.

You need to purchase a bed skirt, that will cover the box spring. A large comforter is too heavy and if you can find one large enough to go to the floor the corners will be draging on the floor. HTH

I have the same problem with my king mattress. You need to buy a 110" x 96" comforter. Most have the dimensions on the outside of the package. Penny's carries quite a few that size, Macy's not too much, but some. Target has a couple. Don't bother with anything any smaller, even if you love it, you will not be happy with the size. Bed Bath and Beyond, but only the higher end comforters. Good luck on your quest for the perfect comforter.

If you want a light cover, you can always purchase a bedspread, maybe a full or a queen. The dimensions are show on the packaging. Not as heavy as a comforter, a bit larger than a quilt....not reversable, but it will cover the mattress on all sides.
