My husband and I who live in the UK are renting a home in the Villages in August. The home does not have a golf cart and we wondered if anyone could tell us which of the cart rental dealers provides a cart with the required insurance. We have travel insurance which covers us for personal accident and public liability but that would not cover damage to a golf cart and I am not actually sure if that would suffice. We have had a cart when on the lifestyle program but I seem to remember we were covered for the golf cart with that.

If anyone could suggest the cart rental dealer who also rents with appropriate insurance that would be really helpful.

Many thanks
Janet

I haven't been able to find any company that rents golf carts that has insurance for the driver. Check with your automobile insurance -- some will cover you, some won't.

I would be please to quote you on an electric cart for the month of August.

Delivered and picked up at you Villages location, with a bi-weekly service visit by us and 24 hr. service if you should have any problems.

My phone # is 352-391-2564

Are your carts insured? Do you have any gas carts for those who want the distance?

The Villages Golf Carts rent carts. I was very happy with my two one day rentals when my son and his wife visited.

I do not have a gas cart but my electric carts are well maintained and WILL carry you anywhere you need to go and back I have had people from over by Bonifay drive and play golf at Orange Blossom drive back to their place and finish the day off at LSL with no issues. As far as insurance, we will glad to go over the details with you when you are ready to rent.

I think, especially as a TOTV sponsor, you should be willing to answer direct questions in a straightforward manner.

Can you provide insurance for folks who rent your carts?

He did answer the question by not answering it.
