I finally got it working, the battery was dead. I purchased it as a really good step counter, did not realize I was getting a mini computer. Thanks for your reply.

I love mine - have fun using it. I have tracked my weight, also. So far, lost 8 pounds.

I've had a FitBit Zip for a few months. Cool to see your steps charted on the website. A real motivator.
