I am so pleased to be able to post this first message on Talk of The Villages. I'm one of the guys involved in putting this forum together for you. ;D I live in the village of Chatham. This is the first time that Villages residents will be able to talk to each other regardless of where you live. Up to now, we have been kind of limited to our neighborhood and/or clubs that we belong too.

You will see that I am posting lots of topics. I am doing that to get the conversations started. It's up to you to feel free to say what you think. In order to get things going, how about responding to this message and say hi.

My Name Is Larry. My wife and I bought in the Villages but wont be able to come down until 2009 (age 62). I notice your picture is with a helmet. Are you with the Nomads? Can I still join even though I don't live there yet?

Yes, I am a member of the Nomads. I am not sure if you need to be a resident in order to join. Perhaps you can check at our web site www.thevillagenomads.com (http://www.thevillagenomads.com).
