My husband and I just booked a Princess cruise for the beginning of February. We have never been to Aruba and are very excited about the trip. Our travel agent told us about a deal with the cruiseline which offers ship board credit to active and retired military. You just fill out a form and include a copy of your DD214 and Princess will give you up to 200 dollars in credit. We are only going on a 7-day cruise so it's $100.00 per retiree. Both of us are retired Army which means we will have $200.00 to spend on board. You may use the credit for excursions, specialty dining, gift shop and spa.

Good deal !
According to this website, all of your future cruises with Princess will have the same credit applied.(just hit the Princess tab at the top for info)
There are several other cruise lines listed on this website that offer military discounts, too.
Enjoy Aruba....it's beautiful. Make sure you visit BOTH sides of the island. They are extremely different.
