We just picked at Country Time Berries in Sumterville. Lots to pick from. Check out their web site for hours and location. Their place is as nice as the web site says. I'm about to make some frozen yogurt, as soon as my belly empties from all the berries I ate while picking! Home Page (http://www.countrytimeberries.com)

Thanks, nice site; but, there is a real nice "you pick blackberries" right on 103 behind Walmart off 466. Closer for me.

Are the BB's as big as the one's on their Web site photos, holy cow if they are. Love to make BB pie, hubby's favorite. Thanks for the tip.

Only had one sweet blackberry in my poor little life. Buy them all year long anyway and choke them down for the nutrition. They are beautiful but take fortitude to consume. Are the ones you picked, pray tell, sweet?

That's odd. I've never had a blackberry that wasn't sweet. I don't buy them, too expensive, but I pick them on vacation.

These Florida grown blackberries are very different from purchased in the store blackberries. They are very big, very juicy and very mild in flavor, but they still have those nasty little seeds that manage to get stuck in your teeth! You should try them.

Got it! Fresh picked = sweet. Store bought = sour.

Yes, they big and sweet. Thornless. I have 4 cookie sheet trays freezing some flat to bag later and used 10 Cups to make 3 qts of the frozen yogurt, used the recipe from their site and substituted Splenda for the sugar...can't wait for it to freeze up! Yum-O-Liciousness!!! Enjoy!
