Anyone know the construction/completion outlook here (for the road itself, that is)?

we see the big trucks going up and down Morse from our backyard. There are huge earthmovers up on the hill across the road south of us. Looks like they are moving the whole hill ;-).
Anyway, the roundabout is laid out, but not paved at Morse/Hillsborough.

The execs are slated for 2014, late in the year. The other two near Palmetto for later this year.

I wonder if the plans for these courses near the fire station may change. It was noted in the Sun that the developer has an option to buy 500 or so acres which I believe is in the adjoining land on the Lake County side of this property. Since this property is right next to the county landfill and also partially under the high tension lines, it would make sense that if this property is ultimately developed for residential use that an executive golf course would be used as a buffer between the houses and the landfill/electrical lines.
From a golfer's perspective, I would hope that this would mean a 4th exec in the area (one in Lake county and the three planned in the area of Morse and 466A). However, if the developer does not want to expand the number of exec courses beyond his initial plan, he may reconfigure part of the area of the three Sumter county courses into residential or for some other use.
This is just idle speculation on my part - not to be construed as fact or even rumor.

yes, there's a huge landfill to the east of the fire station, but it's not used for garbage or household trash, I think it's construction waste. It's called Encore.

I just got the newest "The Village's map" which you can buy for $5 from one of the sales centers and there is an executive golf course indicated for that location. Of course that doesn't mean it will happen but.....
