I have not really used the Orang Blossom Country Club very much. Is it really good? I'm going to have to try it. Can you tell me what it is like?

Our favorite restaurant is Up The Creek Fishcamp. We have always had good food there. The wait can sometimes be lengthy but is usually shorter than the time quoted to us.

Definitely for us it is the Lopez Legacy Restaurant! We have eaten there many times for dinner, lunch and Sunday Breakfast. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. Yes especially during "The Season" the waits can be long but we know it's always worth it. The steaks always melt in you mouth and are made perfectly. I also love the lobster scampi, it had so many huge chunks of lobster I was I could hardly believe it and it was awesome! We go 1 -2 times a month to treat ourselves. Too Jays has good all around food and we have been lucky the food and service at Dominic's has always been good for us. We have also found The Firehouse Subs in Spanish Springs makes wonderful sandwiches and an incredible chili!!! Unfortunately it always seems empty so I hope they can stay in business!

Firehouse subs are  but I haven't been to the one in The Villages yet. Re: Orange Blossom....went to the all-ya-can-eat crab legs special once.....very good legs and good service. For wings....try Oasis at Lopez on two-for-one Tuesdays....excellent (and I'm a wing-nut). Lopez warm lobster salad is my fav. For ice cream....well....

There are many choices for Sunday brunch in TV but Orange Blossom CC is always a good choice; and the price is reasonable. It's $6.95 plus coffee. In addition to the usual hot trays and fresh fruit, there's a 3-egg omelet table with two people cooking on 6 hot plates. They can handle a crowd and unlike so many places, they take reservations.

If you want a really good little known small cafe try Lil Bits Cafe, it's in the new plaza across the road from Crispers, open 7AM till 2PM 7 days a week. Great food, svc and reasonable!

Bonefish Grill..........owned by the same company as Outback and Carrabbas. I also hear there is one coming to TV soon. Does anyone know where and when? I CANT wait, their food is the best and service has always been exceptional for us!!!!

Taltarzac: My wife and I own Bruster's Ice Cream in the Mulberry Grove shopping center in TV. Patty runs the store....I work full-time elsewhere.

"tis the Nutty Professor indeed. Although, I am lassoed occassionally to make ice cream, Bruster's adheres to very strict recipes using the freshest stuff. The avatar suits me well.....but my full-time profession keeps me in an honest-to-goodness laboratory (clinical biomedicine).

I'm surprised that none of you mentioned TIERA DEL SOL COUNTRY CLUB! It is by far THE BEST Maryland Crab Cakes I have ever eaten outside of Maryland!!!! They have big chucks of crab and not a lot of filling! I heard about them from a friend and didn't believe her, but try them yourself. I believe someone told me they fly them in, I forgot to ask the waitress, but after tasting them, I BELIEVE IT!!! Sandytoes :bigthumbsup:

Since our favorite restaurant doesn't have to be one in TV, I would like to go to Red Lobster more often, but don't like the distance to get there. I don't know what they do to their baked potatoes, but they are great, and of course the cheddar biscuits are worth the trip!

One of the best places for steaks and prime rib is Alfies. It is located on route 25 between Route 42 and the back gate to Del Web. You can get a prime rib for two around 26 bucks. if you go once you will be hooked.best prime rib in the area

Since my sister and I are not down in the villages full time, we were there 3 times this year and love Nancy Lopez' restaurant. The salmon was excellent. We took our friends there in October and they loved it. We also like Cane Gardens, reasonable and very good. TooJays has a very good lunch menu. We can't wait to come down again in March. We are planning on retiring in August 2008 and will spend more time in TV. We will be thinking of our home in Duval while we watch the snow pile up here in Hamburg, NY.

We also like Cane Gardens, reasonable and very good, along with Arnold Palmer. I am originally from Hamburg NY but now live in NJ and in the village of Hadley. My wife a I will be going down to TV for a week or so in November, December and January to hunt for furniture.
