I know others are using this new item as I've seen them connected to your homes! I am curious as to how you like them. So far I have purchased 4 and taken 2 back because of leaks. The clerk at Wal Mart said she thought more had been returned than sold! We kept 2 and are using them despite small leaks because they do work well and it is a great way to tuck unsightly (can you say neon green?) hose out of the way. Adding Teflon tape to the joints helps a bit but there are still small leaks where connected to the nozzle! Isn't it a shame that China can't make a product that doesn't leak? I'm still hoping for a more improved version! It would be too much to hope for a quality version made in the good ole USA but I won't hold my breath!:rant-rave:

I have two 50 footers and so far after 2 weeks they are working fine. Bought them to replace two regular heavy hoses that are a pain to roll up after use. Hopefully these pocket hoses will last a while.

The only thing amazing about this hose is that it's still on the market. I returned one due to leaks and a friend went through two of them:sad:

Mine only lasted a week but it was a gift from my son and I still haven't had the heart to tell him it sprung a huge leak!

We considered buying one so I did a little research on the internet. Review after review revealed that leaks are very common, even while brand new. Didn't buy.

Bought two, one leaked around hose nossel right out of the package. Took it back and haven't used the replacement yet. I do like the ease of use.

Mine broke on the sprayer end within 2 weeks , it was a waste of money, you get what you pay for.

Isn't it baffling that such an unreliable product is still heavily advertised on TV and sold in so many stores? We bought two, returned one. No questions asked. If yours broke, take it back! The clerk told me they get so many back it's incredible. Yet they're still making and selling them. We keep the remaining one in the garage and use it with kid gloves. Don't know what would happen if it were left out in the FL sun.

I've had mine for months- and use it regularly. No problems.
It's not a fire hose though, I don't treat it roughly.
I purchased it to do trickle watering of new plantings- works with ease in moving it about and controlling the flow. I like it for washing the vehicles too,
I'm a lightweight and I don't have to wrestle it.

A friend of mine developed the idea, which was stolen by investors and marketed before it was ready.

For those of you consider buying one know that the bright lime colored We purchased two from HomeDepot and they failed immediately right out of the package. ACE tells me they experienced heavy returns.
We purchased the blue colored one and it works fine;albeit it really is only good for watering plants, and washing the car...not enough pressure vis a vis the heavier hose we had. In fact the company makes note that the pocket hose is not good if you are using a pressure washer, etc.

Bought Flex-Hose on TV . Now have several for 2 months. No leaks-operate as advertised. Quality seems good. Will see over time

Treated it with kid gloves because of the bad reviews but it still leaked two days after purchase and back it went. Piece of junk.

I read a review that stated the plastic nozzle leaks but you can buy one on line that has a metal nozzle. I love mine because it's so light and easy to use.

Garbage, pure garbage. Bought two, the first one leaked like a geyser the second time I used it. Took both back to Wal-Mart for a refund.
The ONLY thing they might be good for would be to water plants with barely a trickle of water. Turn on any kind of pressure & they will burst.
I'm anxious to see how many stores carry them next year. But perhaps they'll have a new & improved version by then.

Loved the idea of a lightweight, compact hose for my patio, but after reading all the online reviews of the pocket hose I decided against it. I opted instead to purchase the 50 ft. coil hose from Lowes. It is not quite as compact but it does fit into a medium sized flower pot on my patio and has not given me one problem after two months of almost daily use.

The first on I bought had a slight leak at the plastic nozzle, all I did was tighten the nozzle a little more on the hose bib and it was fine. I had it for around five months no problem till one day was pulling into my Lani and the hose hit the corner of the screen door and got a hole in it. I bought a second one and no problem. I do understand that a company named Dap makes one with brass fittings. I think you have to buy it online.

Mine didn't leak at the plastic fittings on the hose ends. The inner plastic membrane that expands inside the green outer covering failed under pressure & sprang a huge leak. I don't see how having brass fittings on the ends will change anything. It's the inner plastic membrane that needs to be improved.
