There is this definition of a person that has committed to The Villages............is known as a "FROG" or is one who decides to stay until they croak.

Now there are many that have made this commitment but prefer another name other than "FROG".

So I am proposing that those that have made this commitment to AMERICA'S HEALTHIEST HOMETOWN should be known as an "ELF"..............."Enjoying Lifestyle Forever".

What do you think..................are you ready to join the ELF Fiefdom? Lets hear your preference.

I'm leaning towards "ELF"! I just need to get to "THE VILLAGES" permanently. It still leaves the question how long does it take to become a FROG/ELF. One day, week, month, six months, year..................still wondering?

I'm for being a member of the ELF fiefdom. Not ready by any means for croaking.

I like "frog." It's more realistic.

I will be there until I croak (which will, eventually, happen). No matter how much I might want to believe otherwise, I'm not going to live forever, so the lifestyle must, one day, end.

Finally Realized Old is Great!:clap2:

BTW, are people under the age of 55 who live in The Villages called pollywogs? Or would they be considered tadpoles?

It's tadpoles because they are just a tad younger then the rest of us.

It is just a state of mind... when you become a resident and decide you are going to be here for the rest of your life, you can consider yourself a FROG, be it the instant you sign the papers or years afterwards.

Never cared for the frog thing. Makes it sound like we come here to die. I came here to live!

I haven't yet figured out what "T.O.A.D." stands for but here's some toad advice:

Eat a live toad first thing in the morning, and nothing worse can happen to you the rest of the day.
