Bees in Firebush

I have an extra large Firebush that is loaded with flowers and bees. The bees are there doing their thing every day. I had an appointment to get my house washed but decided I had better call and tell the man about the bees. I left a message on his machine. He then called back and left a message that he had to cancel the appointment but didn't say why. He said he would try to reschedule it but I haven't heard from him.

I could call him and reschedule if he's not worried about the bees. But now I'm wondering if the house-washing-solution will kill the bees. Should I be worried about it or not?

The bees will not bother him as long as he does not bother them. They will probably not come near if he is spraying water on the house. I have native plants which attract bees and I walk among the plants daily and the bees ignore me.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I agree. When I left a message for the house-washing-guy, I told him these honey-bees are not agressive. I even did a little trimming on the bush and they did not come after me. But I told him about the bees because I have heard that some people are highly allergic to bee stings.

Now I'm wondering if the bees will survive the (bleach?) solution that's used in the pressure washing.

I even did a little trimming on the bush and they did not come after me. But I told him about the bees because I have heard that some people are highly allergic to bee stings.

I don't think the bees will stick around when the spraying starts.
