Hello all. My name is George. Divorced for eight years and soon to be 65. I have sold my home in the upper peninsula of Michigan...yes I am a Yooper, although I spent over 30 years in southern Ca. I am renting a home in Buttonwood for three months, while I look for a home to buy. Thinking of a ranch home or smaller designer, and want to buy a resale. Any tips on looking will be appreciated, and I am looking forward to making new friends and settling in to the new lifestyle.

take your time figure out what village you want to live in a home will come along get a mls and village person...and welcome

Before we got our home we worked with both a realtor from the Villages as well as an MLS agent. This gave us a greater number of homes to look at. Agree that the first thing you should do is take some time to look around and find out just where you want to live. Have fun and good luck.
