You'll love Elaine Fisette at Allstate on 466 in front of Walmart. She is very knowledgeable and they write for several homeowner's companies. 743-4340. Her husband Mike does the auto portion.

Kitty the problem U have now is not being able to get full sink hole ins because you didn't get it at closing.

Thereafter, it is next to impossible to obtain.

Let us know, but most went thru The Villages Ins and have full sink hole.

thanks jimbo, I did get sinkhole covg....I did get TV...
I have a clown handling ins on other house where I moved from.
RANT....

I'm looking at the face sheet for my unexpired policy with Clown's name as agent of record...on phone with Clown.
Clown says I don't have a policy because a year ago I didn't take care of repairs on an old claim and :blahblahblah: so he couldn't do a change of agent and so my policy lapsed.
We had this EXACT conversation a year ago until I showed him the receipt where I paid him for the policy and proved to Clown the policy was in good standing....

Clown still can't find that I actually have a policy but can resurrect an ancient argument to claim that it's my fault. But Clown I do have a policy and here's your name on it...:faint:

We've had our H.O. insurance through Rita Canty/Brightway Insurance out of Jacksonville - (904) 646-1850.

Brightway Insurance (http://www.brightwayinsurance.com/locations/nef-jax-intra-coastal-west-homeowners-insurance.html)

Policy is with Security First.

We bought our TV home as a resale in late '07 and were able to get sinkhole coverage added after an inspection in early '08. The "rules" that insurance companies put in place re: sinkhole coverage/availability are constantly changing. We've been lucky so far and the policy including sinkhole coverage has been extended to us each year since.
