Has anyone had damage (discoloration, fading, paint damage) to your aluminum screened-areas (front entry, garage screen, birdcage, etc.) from pressure washing?

The kind of damage you are talking about is caused y someone who either doesn't know or doesn't care using the wrong solutions or way too much pressure. The contractor who has done mine 4 times is too careful to cause the damage you describe.

We've used four different power-washing companies over the years. We've never had any damage. We currently use Egners.

What is the approximate cost of getting a lanai washed? I have no clue what to expect. Do they all squeegee windows, mop up all water, move furniture? I did mine once with a garden hose, but if the price is right then I'm certainly willing to pay a pro!

I would be careful about High Pressure Power Washing of houses. We have had our home presure washed for years, without any problems....but the last time the power washer guy got water under the eaves of the house and it leaked into our house. It was a terrible mess. The pressure washing company gave us a hard time at first, but eventually realized that they had caused the problem and painted our ceiling. I would only go with hand washing from now on.
