As many of you know, I am challenged by COPD [Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease]. Therefore, I am inclined to advocate about it, in the hopes of increasing research into its treatments and possible cures.

Therefore, may I please ask that you all come to the next USF Villages Health lecture:

Dr. David Solomon, discussing COPD and related breathing diseases.

Savannah Center. Tuesday, 08/20/13. 1:30 pm. Free tickets required (get them at any Villages Box Office).

You will find me there, along with dozens of the support group known as The Villages Airheads, most of whom rely upon supplemental oxygen!

Look for our signature orange sun-glasses!

Can't wait to see you there!

There was a good crowd at yesterday's lecture. Reportedly, some 500 folks!

I hope that at least a few of you TOTV-ers were there.

We (The Villages Airheads) were especially pleased to have 4 members of the COPD Foundation staff in attendance. That was a significant recognition of the Foundation's impact on the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease's research-fund-raising status!

The USF and Villages Health initiatives are well worth your close attention!
