Don't water lawns LONGER than normal just because of once a week restriction. Most of that extra water will NOT seep into the lawn. It just runs down to the gutter and into the sewer...wasting water and MONEY.

I'm afraid the Professional Lawn people won't agree with you. ::) If you stick to the 40 minute per area schedule, one day a week, you won't have to worry about mowing your grass. If we don't get some rain you won't have any grass to mow.
