Not too many jobs in this economically depressed part of Florida pay $13 per hour.
Hope that no Villagers apply for it. The citizens of Wildwood need the money more than a Villages retiree.

I am amazed at how many people think everyone who lives in the villages is cash flush. There are more people here than many people realize who need that extra part-time job to help pay bills. This does not mean people didn't plan correctly for retirement. Unexpected medical, kids need help, you never know. Glad there is someone else who thinks everyone here cash flush.

Tell that to the retired city government workers from Detroit who live down here.

Maybe they should take the money and pay their workers a living wage. The needy that need the help are their own workers.

That would be a pay increase of $.63/hour.

In Washington DC, legislation has been passed to increase the minimum wage to $12.50 Hour. Walmart has threatened not to expand in that area. I say, good!
